Feist - Binnie - Small - Adult - Male - Dog
Binnie is a staff favorite because he is such a funny guy! He loves people and will always seek out a hug or cuddle. He responds to all people attention. He is just the right size dog for any home as he is about 20 pounds and is fully grown. He has soulful eyes and a soft pale yellow coat. His ideal home would be with some doting folks who want to give him all their attention. He is great in his crate, loves toys, loves walks and play times and is great in the car. Binnie came to the SG program from a rural shelter as a stray but he is very ready to never stray again from a loving home. He is about 3 years old and very much his own unique breed. He is a smaller dog but active, loves to spend time outdoors and can keep up for long walks. Binnie is currently in one of our wonderful foster homes and here's what his foster mama has to say: "Sweet and wonderful Binnie is waiting for someone to snap him up! He so loves being around people that he would rather curl up on a tiny pillow than occupy a more comfy (and size-appropriate) dog bed in another room. He is such a terrific and loving boy who wants nothing more than to be loved, and shower his chosen people with complete and unmitigated adoration. Binnie is a low maintenance guy; he enjoys going on walks but requires minimal exercise. He is calm and quiet, and very rarely barks (and only if there is something he SHOULD bark at!). He is housebroken, excellent in a crate (or out!) and uses a pet door reliably. He has not been allowed on the furniture at his foster home, but he would LOVE to be invited onto the couch if that's an option! He gets along well with small to medium size dogs, although he is a bit fearful of some larger male dogs. He'd be fine as an only dog as well. He is not food motivated, but is very appreciative of treats and is gentle when he accepts an offered goodie. He gets along well with older children, but very young kids are likely to make him a bit nervous (he'd be happy to hang out in a crate or bedroom while the grandkids visit, though!). More than anything in the world, Binnie loves people and he is happiest when he can be around humans. Please come and meet him, he is wonderful." If interested in meeting Binnie, please email an application to Saving Grace. He is available for an adoption fee of $350 that includes his neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm prevention and frontline for fleas and ticks. Binnie was heartworm positive when he arrived with us and has been successfully treated. All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their shots, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to [email removed]. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a foster home and potential adoptee. The Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from the Petfinder Homepage or our new website at www.savinggracenc.org or by clicking on the links below: Click here to download an adoption request today. Click here to download an adoption contract. Click to see our events! Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care
